ASOC CAMP

just got back from asoc camp not too long ago so here's a quick update. my grp was the overall champion for the entire camp. WOOHOO!..it was really really good, fighting hard with my teammates and all. on the first day, we topped the scores for the station games so we decided to chiong for the whole camp! the next day's games were at sentosa, and the pressure was building up really fast cos we were afraid to lose any single game and every other group was bent on trying to make us lose. we lost one game and drew one...and we came in second, only lagging by a point to the first team. after the games was the amazing race (yes another one, second one in two weeks) and we came in first. WHOA it was really hell..we chionged and ran like crap. all our muscles are aching now..super good workout..so so shagged. its the third consecutive weekend in sentosa. i think i know my way around quite well now. sheesh. i hope bondue camp doesnt take us there again!
the ppl in my og are quite a fun bunch. the girls are worse than me really..when it comes to talking abt other guys and girls. they really take notice of every possible person and there's always something to comment about. damn fun man. all that people watching lasted for the entire three days in camp, haha. i never knew there were so many of such people around, now i dont feel so bad when i bitch. and apart from the bitching, i played lots of bridge and daidee. UBER shiok. i got marcus and jake very very mad last night cos i totally trashed them at daidee. my cards were really good...having lots of picture cards and even a royal flush. so this morning they wanted to take revenge so we played some more! EVERY chance we had we played. all in all, its quite weird but i actually turned out to be one of those who slept the least throughout the camp. so! im not that bad okay. cel always thinks im lousy at staying up but u noe when i was playing cards, people were already snoring away. HEHE. yeah this camp i think i really broke record by staying up the longest. :D
i think my facilitator peiying really rocks. REALLY. she's so gungho i love that spirit.
pictures of the camp will be posted up when they're sent. coming up! music clinic test. im so so screwed. i havent practised the least bit cos there isnt even a chance to sing in the shower at camp. im just gonna whack and see how things go..my last lesson at mc. SIGH.

alright! this is the last day of slacking before the hiong camps start rolling in. just a little info for those who are interested in knowing my whereabouts, or if anyone has trouble locating me, this is my schedule..
thurs-sat noon: asoc camp
sat evening: music clinic
sun: rejuvenating & getting laundry done
mon-wed: bondue camp
thu morning: soa academic briefing
thu afternoon-evening: kumon
fri afternoon: sob academic briefing
sat noon: bowling trng
sun: free for the time being
mon-wed: freshmen camp
just kill me now. as u can see, sunday's the only rest day i possibly have, and that's not enough. i think i signed up for too many things. haha. all the best to myself man. and i think there goes my singing crashcourse. where in the world do i find the time to go for lessons at this rate.. GOSH. and yeah, driving too. but nvm. that can wait. piang.
if i dont update for a while after today, it just means im too tired, im sick, or dead from over-exhaustion. fel and ck, see u guys in abt two weeks time earliest. :)

idiot waiver test is going down the drain. my 25 bucks. ARGGGGHHHH. cant believe no one can do anything. just bad luck. so its 1st run and no waiver test, no choice.
went to meet up with my acct grp ppl last night..they're okay..not as fun a bunch as the mic people. and it seemed that i wasnt the only one who wasnt in a mood to socialize...everyone wasnt! haha. but it was not bad...still managed to talk a little. and peiying (the solaris senior) happens to be my facilitator and she suggested playing the traffic light game. and because such things always happen to me, i HAD to be the first to go. she spun her handphone and i kenna so ya, i started the ball rolling. fel, u must be laughing yr head off cos i just told u how i'd be glad to avoid this game right. ya so suay. anyway its over and done with. i hope no more traffic light games. its sad! and seems like the girls in my grp are pretty much in a similar situation as i am. HAHA damn funny. fel, u noe what i mean, the other traffic light option :) and its a small world indeed, audrey's in my grp and so is priscilla, dorothy's friend. not bad yeah. and i know people like jiaying, laura and chris in other groups. well well..pretty good for a start i must say. :)
damn im still upset over the waiver test. smu, you've finally disappointed me in one way.
anyway guess where i'll be heading later this afternoon! kumon! omg. im going back to work...haha. margaret says they're quite in hot soup, so i'll be offering my services till god-knows-when. i dont know if that's the right decision i've made but honestly, i hate to imagine my colleagues struggling with all the marking and the kids. i know what it's like and its a torture to work under such conditions. anyway today's tues, i get to see xiaohui. *beams* havent seen her in CENTURIES. erm. okay. and nicole comes in on tues..i hope she is still with kumon, haha. i need the money really. k kumon doesnt pay well, so i'm doing a kind deed. i guess im not that money-minded. i miss martin actually. ytday i saw this preschool kid playing and i thot it was martin. MARTIN MY CUTE BOY!
i cant go for the next bowling training again. migosh. why do all the dates have to clash? sat's the worst day ever to have training..i'll just be back from camp and i've singing exam. im considering whether i shd go for bondue dinner too. quite tired of long long dinners. draggy business. but well, i should just go and make friends. over the past two days, i'm proud to say that i already got to know like more than 30 people. which isnt too shabby is it? without even going for camps yet :)

im aching all over! we did this pseudo amazing-race thingy at sentosa today which made us go to all the wrong places taking super long routes and dying of exhaustion. somehow my grp didnt turn out last in spite of all the problems we had. i really wished for fel to be around at that point..haha. ms sentosa. cant do without you babe. i only know siloso and palawan beach. other than that, i only know how to flag cabs. haha :D
we also played wacko...somehow im damn good at that game...and ppl love calling me. maybe my name's too easy to rmb. then we played some scavenger hunt thingy and we lost...we did this uber lame forfeit of singing liang ge xiao wa wa in english!! :(

the ppl i met today are really nice and sociable. thank goodness. the seniors are really nice too. it feels a little like a big big music clinic family. happiness. :)
